Techniques Employed: life table and longevity experiments, feeding assays, temperature sensitivity assays, microarrays, RNA-seq, phylogenetics.
Research Description: I am interested in phenotypic plasticity of >life-history and physiology traits and in the evolution of duplicated genes, including "ecological subfunctionalization" of paralogs. A related research direction focuses on the reaction of Lake Baikal endemic crustaceans to elevated temperatures.
