Research Description: The Williams lab studies the evolution of morphological traits using fruit flies as a model organism and with an emphasis on gene expression evolution. We are proficient with transgenic and biochemical approaches to study gene regulation/function, immunohistochemistry, and diverse molecular biology techniques.
